(Guthrie Center, IA) — The high school baseball season begins one week from today — AC/GC will start on Tuesday, May 20 — the Chargers are coming off a 10-14 season and lose five senior starters including their ace pitcher Noah Kading. Head Coach Nick McCool will turn to Senior Tommy Skram to help anchor the staff anlong with Senior Blaize Dorsey and a handful of young pitchers
The offense will be led by Senior Center Fielder Tommy Skram who hit .417 last year with 15 RBI and 28 stolen bases — he walked 23 times and only struck out seven times so McCool says he is ideal at the top of the batting order

McCool says that Will Skram will do some catching this year — McCool is also excited about Kayden Dominguez who is a transfer from Arizona.
