(Red Oak) Three people suffered injuries in a two-vehicle accident in Montgomery County.
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at around 6:46 p.m. on Highway 34 and P Avenue. Authorities identified the injured persons as Blake McCann of Glenwood, Michael Knox of Lenox, and his passenger, whose name was not released.
According to the press release, McCann was driving a 2013 Ford F250 pickup northbound on P Avenue, failed to stop at the stop sign, and struck an eastbound 2012 Chevrolet K2500 driven by Knox.
McCann was airlifted to the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and Knox was transported to the Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic. The Knox passenger was transported by helicopter to Bergan Mercy Hospital.
The accident is currently under investigation.
