(Clarinda) The Clarinda Police Department arrested Jody Lee Lisk, age 42, of Clarinda, on Friday on a charge of sexual abuse in the second degree, a class B felony involving a minor.
Lisk is currently being held without bond at the Page County Jail pending an initial appearance before a Magistrate. This arrest is a result of a joint investigation conducted by the Clarinda Police Department and the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services Child Protective Services Division.
Reports have been forwarded to the Page County Attorney’s Office for review and a determination regarding the filing of formal charges.
As with all criminal cases, the charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
