(Atlantic) Families in the Atlantic area are invited to a morning of hands-on learning and outdoor-themed fun later this month at the Nishna Valley Family YMCA.
“Kids Explore: Backyard Biologists” is scheduled for Saturday, April 18, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Nishna Valley Family YMCA. The event is designed to give children an interactive experience exploring the natural world through creative and educational activities.
Young participants will take on the role of “Backyard Biologists,” with opportunities to get up close with live critters, enjoy balloon animals, and take part in dinosaur digging experiences. The event will also feature nature-inspired crafts, snacks, and additional activities aimed at sparking curiosity and imagination.
Admission is $5 per person or $20 per family for YMCA members. For non-members, the cost is $10 per person or $40 per family.
