(Atlantic) Atlantic and Red Oak matchup tonight in a Hawkeye Ten Conference baseball game at Red Oak. The Trojans split with St. Albert on Monday falling short in the first game 6-3 and came back in the nightcap and won 10-2. The Trojans exploded for 10 runs on 12 hits. Grant Petty went 3-3 at the plate, and Kale Jensen, Paxton Pross, and Sawyer Tarrell each had a pair of hits for the Trojans. Pross ended the game with three RBI, Jensen had a homerun and three RBI, and Tarrell drove in one baserunner. Keston Schmitt, Hudson McLaren, and Jack Muller each contributed one hit. Kale Jensen pitched a gem. The senior allowed only two runs on three hits, while striking out 11 batters and walking three.

Red Oak and Atlantic enter the contest with team batting averages of .238. Kale Jensen Keston Schmitt, and Paxton Pross lead the team in hitting. Jensen is batting .377, with seven home runs, and 16 RBI. Keston Schmitt is batting .289, with seven doubles, one home run, and six RBI. Pross, just an 8th grader, has one home run to his credit; 11 singles, and one double, and seven RBI.
Cale Hall has been dominating at the plate for the Tigers. The senior is hitting, .439, with 24 singles, one double, and three RBI. Carson Roeder is hitting .355 with 17 singles, three doubles, one triple, one home run, and ten RBI.
