(Atlantic) Atlantic Police say two Des Moines men were arrested and a third suspect remains at large following a late-night burglary at Nishna Valley Cycle on April 1.
At approximately 11:35 p.m., the Atlantic Police Department responded to a commercial Burglary alarm at 2500 E. 7th Street, Nishna Valley Cycle. Upon officers arrival, three individuals fled the scene. Two subjects were later apprehended with the assistance of Cass County Sherriff’s deputies and Iowa State Patrol.
The two suspects were identified as Omarion Oliver, 21, of Des Moines, and Deshaun Long Jr, 18, of Des Moines. Oliver has been charged with: Dominion in Control of a Firearm by a Felon, Burglary 3rd Degree, Possession of Controlled Substance 2nd Offense, and Theft 4th Degree. Long has been charged with Burglary 3rd Degree.
A third suspect has been identified, but not yet apprehended.
The investigation is on-going and no other details will be released at this time.
