(Griswold, IA) — The Griswold Volleyball team will try to get back to the .500 mark tonight as they host Essex on Senior Night. The Tigers went 1-3 at their tournament on Saturday and then lost to Stanton in five sets last Tuesday to fall to 9-10 on the season. Head Coach Jody Rossell says they are taking teams to the max in a lot of their matches and need to start winning some of these close sets
Senior Amanda Houser leads the team in kills with 125; Senior Arika Palmer is 2nd with 107 and leads in blocks with 19 and aces with 26. Senior Carsyn Adams is the setter with 276 assists and leads in service percentage at 96.2
Rossell is also impressed with Senior Ally Gade — a former outside hitter who has moved to Libero because of an injury
Essex is 2-11; Griswold will visit Fremont Mills on Thursday
