(Atlantic) – A Community For Kids (C4K) and the Atlantic Public Library are excited to announce a new addition to the Adventure Pass program: The Museum of Danish America in Elk Horn.
This new pass provides Atlantic Library cardholders with free admission for up to four people, offering a chance to explore the fascinating history, culture, and traditions of Danish Americans. The museum features engaging exhibits, a “kids zone” Lego wall, a 30-acre prairie with walking trails, equipment, and a community fire pit. Visitors will also discover stories that bring Danish-American heritage to life, making it an enriching experience for all ages.
The Adventure Pass program allows library cardholders to “check out” passes to local attractions, much like a book, transforming a regular day into an extraordinary adventure. Instead of reading a story, families can create memorable experiences of their own.
“We are grateful for the Museum of Danish America’s dedication to supporting families and enriching our community’s cultural life,” said Rush, Founder of A Community for Kids. “The Adventure Passes have been very well received, and this new partnership will be a fantastic opportunity for families and visitors of all ages,” added Petersen, Youth Services Librarian.
Adventure Passes are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Any adult with a library card in good standing can check out a pass, which is valid for seven days after checkout.
