(Area) — The Iowa Football Coaches Association has released the High School Football All State Selections for the 2025 season.
In Class 3A, Atlantic had three players selected to the 2nd team on offense and defense — Senior RB Ethan McNeal (1,331 rushing yards); Senior DL/FB Gavin McLaren (550 rushing yards); Senior OL Donovan Hedrington; and Sophomore Punter Zander Killion (40.5 punt average).
Audubon had 7 players honored on the 8 Man All State team. First team selections included Senior OL Sullivan McClain, Senior DL Brody Weber, Senior LB Austin Christensen, and Sophomore Kick and Punt Returner Jorgen Noawatzke. Second Team selections for the Wheelers are Sophomore RB Mason Kasperbauer, Junior DL Hayden Larsen and Sophomore DB Aiden Kjergaard.
Woodbine had 5 players selected First Team All State including Junior WR Landon Blum, Senior Offensive Utility Brodyn Pryor, Junior DL Lucas Olsen and Junior DB Cal Pryor. Also in 8 man, Senior LB JW Linkenhoker of Fremont Mills was named 2nd team.
In Class A, AC/GC had seven players recognized — First Teamers included Senior RB Joe Crawford; Senior OL Jack Sheeder and Senior DL Carter Richter. Second team selections for the Chargers include Senior RB Brexton Schneider, Senior K Oliver Wetzel and Senior LB Xander Harwood.
Riverside had three players named All State — First Team Senior RB Jaxon Gordon finished with 2,112 rushing yards and leaves as the Bulldogs all time leading rusher. Senior OL Wyatt Bell and Junior DB Cole Jeppesen were 2nd Team All State selections.
AHSTW Senior Drew Lee was 2nd team at Defensive Utility and Senior Gatlin Gettler was 2nd team at LB. IKM Manning’s Senior Ben Ramsey was 1st team All State at LB and Senior Ashton Ahrenholtz 2nd team at DB.
In Class 1A, Treynor had 5 players named All State. First teamers inlcuded Senior RB Jett Sornson and Senior DB Jude Mieska at Utility. Second Team selections for the Cardinals include Junior OL Maverrick Kalb, Senior QB Ethan Hill at Utility and Senior DL Dane Guttau.
Underwood had three players honored — First Team QB Senior Garrett Luett at Utility and Second Teamers Senior WR Kyle Sub and Senior DL David Foote. Tri Center’s Senior WR Zach Nelson was named first team all state.
