(Waterloo) Boyden-Hull jumped out to an early lead at the Class 1A boys’ state golf tournament, firing a team score of 306 to top the 12-team field after the opening round at South Hills Golf Course. Woodbine sits in third place with a 333, while CAM heads into day two in 11th place after posting a 354.
Individually, Boyden-Hull’s Jackson Keizer leads all golfers with a one-under-par 71. CAM’s Chase Jahde is part of a four-way tie for eighth after carding a 79. Woodbine’s Cody Dickinson is currently in 12th with an 80, and Sidney’s Hayden Thompson is tied for 15th after shooting an 81.
