(Audubon, IA) – The Audubon Wheelers are coming into this season with a fresh outlook with multiple returning players. New head coach Darran Miller is just looking to continue to build off what he has taught his players this offseason.
One player who is returning is senior Edward Miller. The senior averaged 13.1 points per game and 9.1 rebounds last season as he was their second-leading scorer and top rebounder. He is looking to be even better this season with a new coach and young talent.
In terms of the offense and defense this season, Audubon is looking to run a quick-tempo offense and look to square up, down in the paint. Defensively, they are looking to put up a press and force teams into tough situations.
Coach Miller is looking down the bench this season at a multitude of players who will be making a big impact. One thing to look out for is the leadership from Edward Miller as he will be able to lead this talent alongside him last year.
As many teams are looking to get better this season overall, so is Audubon. Coach Miller wants his players to develop their skills over the course of the season, which only will lead to more success for the Wheelers.
Audubon’s first game of the season will be on November 27th against Coon Rapids-Bayard at 7:15 p.m.
