(Des Moines) The National Weather Service says additional strong to severe storms are expected to develop in Southwest Iowa tonight.
All severe hazards are possible, including flash flooding, large hail, damaging wind gusts, and potentially a tornado. Additionally, flash flooding is most likely in urban areas and those that also received heavy rain Thursday night.
River flooding is possible, especially in basins that receive heavier rainfall. Flash flooding is possible again later this weekend.
