(Des Moines) The Iowa High School Athletic Association opposes a plan to charge fans to watch state championship tournaments. The Iowa High School Sports Network’s streaming service is switching to a pay-per-view system. The association petitioned the Polk County District Court to let them stream the games for free if the network decides to charge for streaming. Under the pay-per-view system, Iowans would pay per game for $9.99 or buy a championship tournament package for $18.99.
