Updated: One Person Hurt in 2 Vehicle Crash in Atlantic

(Atlantic) An Atlantic Man suffered injuries in a two-vehicle accident in Atlantic on Wednesday afternoon.

The Atlantic Police Department tells KSOM/KS95 News the accident happened just after 1:00 p.m. Authorities say 33-year-old Nick Myers was taken by EMS to Cass Health for treatment of injuries.

According to the APD, Myers was driving a Chevy pickup southbound out of the McDonald’s parking lot and turning east onto 7^th Street, and was struck by a westbound box truck driven by 62-year-old Dave Primrose of Des Moines.

The Atlantic Police Department cited Primrose for failure to obey a traffic control device.
