(Neola) Two big innings spark Riverside to a 17-4 road win over Tri-Center on Thursday. The Lady Dogs scored seven runs in the second and fourth innings and scattered one run in the third and two in the fifth.
Madison Kelley, hitting .459 going in, led Riverside with four hits and five RBI. Adaline Martens went 2-4 with two RBI. Kayden Schnaack was 2-3 with one RBI, and Elly Henderson was 2-3 with an RBI. Ayla Richardson picked up the win for the Lady Dogs.
Tri-Center plated one run in the second inning and three in the third. Joenellie Hernandez-Goldapp, Hannah Wulff, Natalie Ausdemore, and Kaeli Harris accounted for the four Tri-Center hits.
