(Atlantic) Three players finished in the top twelve to lead ADM to the team title at the Betty Heflin Girl’s Golf Tournament on Tuesday at the Nishna Hills Golf Course in Atlantic. The Tigers shot a 388.
Emma Mellencamp led the way with a third-place score of 89, Monica Thomas finished 10th, 98, and Kendall Book finished 11th with a 98.
Jaya West of Winterset medaled with a 76. Winterset finished second in the team race with a 399. Erin Walker of Carroll was the runner-up medalist shooing an 82, leading her squad to a third-place, 401.
Atlantic finished fourth at their home course with a 413. Belle Berg led the team with a 7th place, 95, and Abby Smith shot a 100 but was handicapped out of the top twelve, by Mikaela Downing of Creston. Lexi Noelck and Reagan Leonard shot 109’s, Abby Muller, 111, and Nissa Molgaard, 123.
