(Cass Co.) The Cass County Sheriff’s Office arrested Richard Lewis Jr., 29, of Council Bluffs, on January 11th on a warrant for Violation of the Sex Offender Registry. Lewis was transported to the Cass County Jail where he was booked and held.
The Sheriff’s Office also arrested Lynn Young, 50, of Elliott, on January 9th for OWI 1st Offense. Young was transported to the Cass County Jail where he was booked and later released on his own recognizance.
Turner Steffens, 18, of Atlantic, was arrested January 14th for OWI 1st Offense. Steffens was transported to the Cass County Jail where he was booked an later released on his own recognizance.
As we previously reported, Vanessa Strazdas, 46, of Atlantic, was arrested January 16th on the charge of OWI 1st offense. Strazdas was transported to the Cass County Jail where she was booked and later released on her own recognizance.
All criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in the court of law.
