(Anita, IA) — CAM is in a good position to be the number three seed out of District 9 — the only way it does not happen is if the Cougars lose to winless Ar-We-Va on Friday and Glidden Ralston beats Coon Rapids Bayard. The offense obviously clicked last Friday in a 60-0 win over Griswold but Head Coach Nick Kauffman was really pleased with his defense
Special teams also clicked as Kayden Winther returned the opening kickoff 65 yards for a touchdown. Kauffman says he uses a mix of starters and young guys on the kick and punt teams
Kauffman says the biggest thing on special teams is that William Rouse had four touchbacks on kickoffs against the Tigers
4-3 CAM visits 0-7 Ar-We-Va this Friday.
