(Coon Rapids, IA) — Coon Rapids Bayard has a big game tonight in 8 Man, District 9. The Crusaders have already clinched a playoff spot but they need a win tonight over Glidden Ralston to sew up the #2 seed. CRB has lost two in a row to #3 Woodbine and #1 Audubon by a combined score of 90-22. Head Coach Nathan Lindsay says they just made two many mistakes against those teams
While the offense has not been hitting on all cylinders, Lindsay likes his defense — there are three players who lead the team in tackles with 46 — Senior Caden Oswald, Junior Sam Hoffman and Sophomore Griffin Mohr
The Wildcats have lost four in a row against Boyer Valley, CAM, Audubon and East Mills — they have won two district games against Ar-We-Va and Griswold. Glidden Ralston is led by Junior QB Brody Hunt with 1,133 passing yards with 18 TD and 11 INT plus 269 rushing yards and 8 TD plus Junior RB Colton Rohrbeck with 674 yards rushing and 8 TD plus 32 receptions for 395 yards and 8 TD
2-5 Glidden Ralston visits 5-3 Coon Rapids Bayard
