(Creston) A Creston woman faces drug charges, and additional charges are pending following a traffic stop in Creston on Sunday afternoon.
The Creston Police Department’s K-9 Baxo assisted with the arrest of 50-year old Lillian Ray at Sumner and Sheldon Streets. Authorities charged Ray with Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Offense. She was released from the Union County Jail on a $1000 bond and issued citations for Failure to Provide Financial Responsibility and Failure to Obey a Traffic Device. This case is currently under investigation, and additional charges are pending.
In a separate case, the Police arrested 50-year old Richard Weaver of Creston at Oak Street and Summit for driving while suspended. He was released from the Union County Jail on a $300.00 bond.
