(Des Moines) The National Weather Service at 9:17 a.m. issued a Winter Storm Warning for Cass, Adair, Audubon, Guthrie, Dallas, Crawford, and Carroll Counties. A Winter Storm Warning was issued earlier and remained in effect for Shelby, Monona, Harrison, Pottawattamie, and Mills Counties until 6:00 p.m. this evening.
According to the National Weather Service, five-to-eight inches of snow is forecast through 6:00 p.m. this evening.
