(Red Oak) The Montgomery County Board of Supervisors met briefly Tuesday morning.
The board approved the preconstruction agreement with the Iowa Department of Transportation for the temporary closure of Ginkgo Avenue.
The closure is due to construction of an IDOT bridge deck overlay project on Highway 48 over the East Nishnabotna River, about 1.7 miles north of the Junction with Highway 34.
Montgomery County Engineer Karen Albert says construction is scheduled to start next summer.
The next Montgomery County Supervisors’ meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 27, at 9:00 a.m.
