(Woodward, IA) — AC/GC and CAM both sent their cross country teams to Woodward Granger on Tuesday.
The Chargers Preston Kent earned his 2nd victory on the young season with a time of 12:10.5. The Senior finished 23 second ahead of Ivan Willett of Perry in 2nd place at 12:33.6.
Also for AC/GC, Jonny Kading was 10th (13:30.7); Bryce Benda 20th; Carver Johnston 26th; Ryne Noland 28th; Jameson Pfrang 31st and Cameron Mozingo 34th. The Chargers finished in 3rd place out of 5 teams that qualified for the team standings.
Vivian Crawford of AC/GC finished 3rd in the girls race wit ha time 14:18.6. Chlover Wahl a freshman from Woodward Granger won with a time of 13:59.4. Camdyn Coffman with the Chargers was 5th at 15:09.5. Also for AC/GC, Lilli Lauzon finished 12th and Brooklyn Schafer 15th.
CAM did not qualify for the team standings in either boys or girls. Freshman Landon Knight was 18th in the boys race (14:06.3) and Senior Dustin McCurdy was 54th. For the girls, Freshman Micayla Lillard was 14th (17:25.7), Freshman Addyson Vogl 30th and Freshman Kendrick Madison 33rd.
There were 61 boys and 36 girls competing.
