(Ames, IA) — The Jimmy Rogers era has begun — Iowa St. had their first day of football practice on Wednesday. There will be a lot of new faces this year — A LOT of new faces, 57 in total so getting everybody on the same page will be the priority before the opener says Rogers.
On offense, one position that is more up in the air than others is Tight End. Rogers says he was planning on rotating guys anyway but there is not a set number one starter right now
On defense, safety is one spot where two starters will have to emerge
Iowa St. will open their regular season on September 5 against SE Missouri, coverage all season long on KSOM.
