The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union released its latest softball rankings and there is a new number one in Class 1A — Exira EHK/Audubon and a new number one in Class 2A — Riverside. The Spartans beat #6 Newell Fonda while the previous #1 Clarksville lost to unranked Grundy Center 12-5. The Bulldogs replaced I-35 who lost to Indianola who is under .500.
Atlantic moved up two spots to #8 in Class 3A. Griswold CAM fell out of the Class 1A rankings.
