(Red Oak) One person was transported to the hospital following a two-vehicle accident in Red Oak Friday morning.
The Red Oak Police Department says at 10:03 a.m., 56-year-old Shane Harrison, of Griswold, was driving a 2024 Ford F250, backing out of a parking stall in the 300 block of E. Reed Street. Harrison did not see a westbound 2007 Ford Mustang behind him, and struck the Mustang, causing significant damage.
The driver of the Mustang, 18-year-old Ethan Hummel of Red Oak, complained of pain, but did not need rescue. A passenger in the Ford F250, 18-year-old Taylor Comstock of Ann Arbor, Michigan, complained of pain and was transported to Montgomery County Memorial Hospital by Red Oak EMS.
