(Adams Co.) A Corning man was arrested on Theft charges.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office says Adams County Dispatch received a report of a stolen vehicle taken near 1411 Nodaway Street at approximately 12:55 p.m. on April 21st. Upon further investigation, the vehicle was located traveling near Creston. 29-year-old Keegan Williams was taken into custody by the Creston Police Department and Union County Sheriff’s Office after a short pursuit.
Williams was charged in Adams County with Theft 2nd Degree and 2nd Degree Theft against an Older Individual. He was transported to the Adams County Jail.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old Austen Haas, of Clarinda, following a traffic stop at Highway 34 and Quince Avenue at approximately 6:47 p.m. on April 26th. He was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana) 1st Offense and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Haas was transported to the Adams County Jail.
