(Van Meter, IA) — Van Meter hosted a Co Ed Track Meet on Monday night and Nodaway Valley got wins from Gabe Winkelman and Izzy Eisbach. Winkelman won the 3200 with a time of 10:21.94 with is a new season best time and he is now in the top 20 in Class 2A. Eisbach won the 1500 with a time of 5:01.10 — she missed a season best time by .40 seconds and ranks 9th in Class 2A in the one mile.
Also for the Wolverine boys, Winkelman was 3rd in the 1600 (4:48.70 and Titan Foster was 2nd in the 400 Hurdles (1:00.23). For the girls, Allie Cornelison was 3rd in the 400 Hurdles (1:13.13), Abby Nelson was 3rd in the 800 (2:28.28) and Emma Boswell was 3rd in the High Jump (4-10) and 5th in the Long Jump (15-06).
