(Griswold, IA) — Griswold hosted a girls track meet on Tuesday night with 10 teams divided into two classes and Carsyn Adams stole the show on her home track. Adams had four first place finishes, winning the 100 Hurdles, the 400, and 400 Hurdles plus anchored the Shuttle Hurdle Relay to a win. The Tigers posted a time of 1:10.84 which ranks among the best 35 times in the state, although it is outside of the times for qualifying for the Drake Relays. Alexa Steinhoff, Bristol Wyman, Sadie Gohlinghorst and Adams complete the line-up.
Also for the Tigers, Ella Gade won both throws and Alexa Steinhoff won the 800. Steinhoff was also part of the 4×400 and Distance Medley relays that finished in first place. Griswold won five relays overall also taking the 4×800.
For the Class AA schools, Bella Lamp won the 400 Hurdles and anchored the 4×800 relay to a win. Addison Carroll won the Discus (106-09) and was 2nd in the Shot Put (32-03.50).
