(Polk County) A central Iowa judge has ruled against the state’s fetal heartbeat law on a technicality. The Iowa Supreme Court had blocked the law by issuing a permanent injunction before Governor Reynolds’ Administration took the issue to court after Roe v. Wade’s reversal. Polk County Judge Celene Gogarty has ruled there’s no path to change a permanent injunction. Reynolds plans to appeal.
