Tornado Watch issued for Southwest Iowa

(Area) The National Weather Service issued a Tornado Watch in effect until 8:00 p.m. for all of Southwest Iowa.

Forecasters say there is an enhanced risk for severe thunderstorms this afternoon through tonight in southwest Iowa. A few tornadoes, damaging winds, and large hail will likely occur in portions of Iowa, and northern Missouri.
