(Shelby Co.) The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office reports seven arrests between January 1st and January 12th.
Kevin Matthew Miller, 45, of Ida Grove, was arrested following a traffic stop on M16 south of Highway 44 on January 1st. Miller was transported to the Shelby County Jail and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) 1st Offense, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana) 1st Offense, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Driving while License is Suspended, Failure to Provide Proof of Financial Liability, Operating a Non Registered Vehicle, and Improper Brake Light.
Debra Jeanne Bruck, 53, of Manilla, was arrested January 5th after an investigation of a vehicle in the ditch on M47. Bruck was transported to the Shelby County Jail and charged with OWI 3rd Offense, Assault on Persons in Certain Occupations, Interference with Official Acts, and Failure to Maintain Control.
Joshua Dean Edgecomb, 32, of Avoca, was arrested after a traffic stop on Linden Road on January 6th. Edgecomb was transported to the Shelby County Jail and charged with OWI 2nd Offense, Speeding, Failure to Yield to Emergency Vehicle, No Valid Driver’s License, and Failure to Provide Proof of Financial Liability.
Kimberly Ann Thomas, 59, of Harlan, was arrested after a traffic stop on Highway 59 on January 10th. Thomas was transported to the Shelby County Jail and charged with Controlled Substance Violation, Failure to Affix Drug Stamp, Prohibited Acts Violation, Speeding, Driving while License is Suspended, and Failure to Provide Proof of Financial Liability.
Mason James Schmitz, 21, of Irwin, was arrested following the execution of a Search Warrant at a residence in Irwin on January 11th. Schmitz was transported to the Shelby County Jail and charged with three counts of Failure to Affix Drug Stamp, two counts of Controlled Substance Violation (B Felony), Controlled Substance Violation (C Felony), Prohibited Acts Violation, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd or subsequent offense, two counts of Controlled Substance Violation (Aggravated Misdemeanor), and two counts of Unlawful Possession of Prescription Drug.
Terry Joseph Tague, 43, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, was arrested following a traffic stop on Linden Road on January 12th. Tague was transported to the Shelby County Jail and charged with Driving while Under Suspension, and Failure to Provide Proof of Financial Liability.
Samantha Jean Bruscher, 31, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota was arrested following a traffic stop on Linden Road on January 12th. Brusher was transported to the Shelby County Jail and charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Controlled Substance (Marijuana), Possession of Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), Prohibited Acts, and Depositing or Throwing Litter on Highway.
