(Atlantic) The Atlantic Police Department and Cass County Sheriff’s Office, and Santa and Mrs. Claus on a motorcycle, handed out tickets right and left on Wednesday afternoon. These particular tickets distributed to random motorists were not your regular tickets.
The 50-plus envelopes totaling at least $3,000.00 are the generosity of five area businessmen. Tim Cappel of Cappel’s Ace Hardware, Alan Zellmer of A-Z feeders, Keith Olsen of Olsen Fuel Supply, and Santa and Mrs. Clause pitched in making people’s Christmas a little bit brighter.
Santa Claus presented the envelopes containing gift cards, cash, and other prizes to the Atlantic Police Department and the Cass County Sheriff’s to distribute random motorists. Keith Olsen…

Atlantic Police Lt. Devin Hogue pulled over Jordan and presented her with an envelope that had $50 inside.
Theresa was on her way out of town to pick someone up when she was stopped.
Kayla was on her way to pick up her daughter at the High School when she was pulled over.
