(Atlantic) Atlantic Head Girls’ Basketball Coach Dan Vargason is filling four starting spots this season. The Trojans graduated four starters and two contributors from last years’ squad.
Junior Jada Jensen is the lone starter returning this season. Jensen is coming off a solid sophomore season at point guard, and she started in 22 of the Trojan’s 23 games, scored 250 -points, and averaged 10.8 points per game.
Coach Vargason says senior Aspen Niklasen returns this season in a potentially different role.
Vargason says two seniors Aubrey Guyer and Malena Woodward, will contribute this season.
Coach Vargason mentions several other prospects including, Maddie Huddleson, Keira Olson, Claire Pellett, and freshman Payton Harter.
The Trojans open up at home against Denison-Schleswig on Tuesday, November 23. The tip-off is at 7:30 p.m.
