(Creston) A vehicle struck an apartment building in Creston this morning.
The Creston Police Department says what was described as a white SUV ran over the grass area next to the apartment building at 1001 S Sumner Street at around 8:20 a.m. and then struck the side of the building. The vehicle was not on scene and was not located before officers arrived on scene.
The wall that was hit had a visible brick indentation and broke through into the inside of the apartment. Due to the damage, a tenant’s door was jammed shut and had to be opened by the fire department.
