Mills County Sheriff’s Report

(Glenwood) The Mills County Sheriff’s Office reports two arrests.

Dustin Lee Harriman, 38, of Council Bluffs, was arrested February 11^th on a warrant for two counts of Violation of Probation. Bond was set at $10,000.

Randolph Troy Smith, 58, of Vero Beach, Florida, was arrested February 13^th for OWI 1^st. Bond was set at $1,000.

A Malvern man was transported to the hospital following a two-vehicle accident on February 11^th.

The Mills County Sheriff’s Office says 57-year-old James Cooper of Farragut and 47-year-old George Sievers of Malvern were both traveling westbound on Highway 34 at the intersection with 188^th Street. Cooper stated that the alarm on his phone went off and he took his eyes off the road long enough to check it and when he looked up he saw red lights and was unable to stop prior to colliding into the rear of Sievers’ vehicle.

Sievers reported possible injuries and was transported to the hospital by Glenwood Rescue.
