(Audubon) The Audubon Rec Center is excited to bring live music and a trivia night to their facility this weekend.
Rec Center Manager Daniel Bierbrodt is hoping to make their steak supper an annual event. “The pandemic I think has hit everyone hard and we are definitely one of those businesses that it’s hit extra hard. We are tying to fund raise some money for us here at the rec center as well as provide a super awesome meal for the community.”
The event will be held this Saturday, August 1st and will feature a full night of entertainment. “We’ll have a live band as well as a trivia night. The band is Out of Options. It’s a local Audubon band. We’ve been trying to find a good time for them to come and play and we were finally able to make it happen.”
The proceeds will go towards a variety of things. “We have some projects that we would like to try and get completed. We are looking to finish our black light project around our bowling lanes so we can do more cosmic bowling. We are looking to finish up a few projects from when we opened with some kitchen supplies we are still looking to get.”
The supper starts at 5:00 p.m. with food served until 8:00 p.m. Trivia will follow the meal.
