The Celebration of Life Service for 94-year old Bernice E. Meurer of Exira will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 25, at Kessler Funeral Home in Exira. Burial will be at the Exira Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Bernice E. Meurer is survived by her children; Don and wife Jeanette Meurer of Harlan, Linda Meurer of Exira, Gary Meurer of Atlantic, Larry Meurer, of Harlan, and Debra and husband Ken Williams of Atlantic. Eleven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, her brother Maynard and wife Alicia Duckworth of Boise, Idaho. Bernice’s sister Kay and husband Clisten Murray of Hesperia, California; her sister-in-law Sandra Mortensen of Beverly Hills, Florida; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
The Kessler Funeral Home in Exira is in charge of the arrangements.
