Audubon 3, Logan-Magnolia 2
Skyler Schultes went the distance allowing four hits, one earned run, and two walks with six K’s on 80 pitches. Audubon had five hits including doubles from Schultes and Braden Wessel. Posting singles were Marcus Olsen, Ethan Klocke, and Gavin Smith. Schultes, Olsen, and Smith had one RBI each.
ACGC 15, Exira-EHK 10
This game featured nine of its 25 runs in extra innings. Exira-EHK held an 8-7 lead going into the 7th, but ACGC forced extras. The Chargers tallied seven runs in the 8th inning and the Spartans had a two run 8th. Andrew Mahaffey, Bryce Littler, and Miles Kading all hit doubles for ACGC. Newell Rogers and Cayden Jensen each had singles. ACGC drew eight walks. They were hit by a pitch six times including three of those from Bryce Littler. Miles Kading records the pitching win with two scoreless innings. Brock Littler struck out five batters in his four innings on the mound.
AHSTW 5, Missouri Valley 2
Sam Porter, Blake Holst, and Joey Cunningham had two hits each with Cunningham driving in two runs and pitching the win. Cunningham allowed six hits and no walks in five innings with four strikeouts. Porter struck out four batters in two scoreless innings. Blake Holst hit an RBI triple.
Underwood 12, Riverside 0
Tyler Reed, Eddie Vlcek, and Ethan Reicks had the lone hits for Riverside. Reicks is hitting .667 on the year. 8th grader Jack Vanfossan pitched four scoreless innings for Underwood with six K’s. Coby Fink had two doubles and drove in five runs.
Lewis Central 10, Harlan 0
Easton Dermody struck out 11 Harlan batters and allowed only three hits with no walks in the five inning contest. Brenden Bartley had two of Harlan’s hits and Isaiah Ahrenholtz had one. Colbey Roth led LC’s bats going 2/4 with three RBI.
Lenox 8, Nodaway Valley 7
Mason Menefee was 3/3 and Mathew Weber went 2/4 with three RBI. Tyler Vandewater, Michael Britten, Colby Harris, Nathan Russell, and Boston DeVault all had one hit. Caelen DeVault struck out five batters in three innings on the mound. He gave up five hits, no walks, and two earned runs.
