Firefighters Respond to Garage Fire in Atlantic

(Atlantic) Atlantic and Marne Firemen responded to a garage fire Wednesday night.

Atlantic First Assistant Fire Chief Tim Cappel says the call went out just before 10:30 p.m. near Second and Linn Streets.

Cappel says some fireworks inside the garage did ignite.

The fire destroyed a Dune Buggy located inside the garage, and some car parts. Tim Cappel says the cause of the fire is currently undetermined until they can get into the area where the roof collapsed.
