2019 Spring Sports
Track
With a bigger roster and some impressive returning talent the Griswold girls track program took a big step forward. Jocelyn Amos (Long Jump), Charli Adams (1500), and the Shuttle Hurdle Relay of Jordyn Main, Josie Mundorf, Jocelyn Amos, and Hope Ogg all went to state. The team finished 3rd at the Corner Conference Meet led by Charli Adams winning the 800, 1500, and 3000.

Golf
The Tigers sent two to the state tournament with Jenna Reynolds and Roni Hook both competing in the Class 1A field at Marshalltown. The Griswold girls were the conference champs with Roni Hook being the individual medalist at the Corner Conference Meet. Reynolds was 3rd in the conference. Britney Nelson, Mikala Pelzer, and Kami Howell all finished in the top 15 at the conference meet.

2019 Summer Sports
Softball
The team posted a record of 7-13. They placed 3rd in the Corner Conference thanks to sweeps against Stanton and East Mills. Junior Kacey Danker was the team’s only upperclassmen. Eight of their 13 losses were by two runs or less.

Volleyball
Griswold finished at 12-18, a three win improvement from the year before. Among the more impressive showings was a five set victory over (21-15) Stanton. Mikala Pelzer ranked 3rd in the conference in aces serves.

Basketball
An ACL injury to Iowa Central commit Jocelyn Amos left the team with only two active seniors. They went 2-18 with a 56-40 victory over Heartland Christian and a 49-33 win against Essex. A freshman, McKenna Wiechman, led the team in scoring.
