Cross Country
CAM was the runner-up to Exira-EHK in the Rolling Valley Conference Meet by one point. The Cougars had four top 15 finishers with Cadence Stephenson crossing the finish line in 4th, Emily Plagman running 6th, Whitney Holaday 11th, and Jade Jackson 14th.
Volleyball
The Cougars struggled to replace a strong senior class from the previous season and finished 10-22. They did put a solid stretch together at the end of the season when they won four out of seven matches before being eliminated by Riverside. Several underclassmen contributed at the varsity level.

Basketball
Despite having to work a lot of new faces into bigger roles, CAM stayed towards the top of the heap. Their 16-7 record included a 13-2 start with separate win streaks of seven and six games. Among the more impressive wins was a 69-64 decision over SW Valley on December 16th when Sammi Jahde and Zoey Baylor each posted season high point totals. Jahde had 29 points and Baylor scored 21.

2019 Spring Sports
Track
CAM finished 4th in the Rolling Valley Conference meet. Jade Jackson was a conference champ in the 100 meter hurdles and high jump. Throwing events were a strength with Molly Venteicher, Allison Spieker, and Mallory Behnken. Venteicher had a best of 36-02.5 in the shot put and 96-08 in the discus. Behnken threw the shot 35-10 and Spieker tossed the disc 101-07.5.

Golf
Sammi Jahde played well enough in Marshalltown over the course of two days to end up as the Class 1A state runner-up. It was the third top ten finish at state in Jahde’s career. Madison Gettler, Halie Giegerich, Sidney Aupperle, Maddie Holtz, Halee Nichols, and Mercedes Harris all played varsity rounds for the Cougars. CAM was 3rd in the Rolling Valley Conference Meet with Jahde being the individual medalist.
2019 Summer Sports
Softball
A 9-16 season saw most of the victories come late in the year. They earned conference sweeps over Ar-We-Va and Boyer Valley. The team had only two seniors. Both of the pitchers that saw varsity innings were freshmen.
