Montgomery County Man Arrested on Assault Charges

(Red Oak) A Villisca man is in custody on a serious misdemeanor Assault charge.

Montgomery County Deputies arrested 35-year-old Steven Dukes on Sunday night in the 400 block of E. 2nd Street. The arrest followed a brief investigation.

Authorities transported Dukes to the Montgomery County Jail, where he was booked and held on a $1,000 bond on a charge of assault causing bodily injury.
