(Anita, IA) — CAM will host Murray in a Class 1A, Region One first round game tonight; coverage on KS 95.
The Cougars are 13-10 and led by Senior Ruthie Rich with 203 kills plus Senior Ada Hansen with 158 kills. One thing that has been key for CAM is that Senior Courtney Follmann has finally recovered from her hand injury and is back to setting full time and Head Coach Hilary Zimmerline says that has made the offense better and the overall play at the net better
CAM has a lot of different players with digs led by Rich with 185 — six different players have over 100 digs and Zimmerline likes that it gives her options
Murray is 21-9 and was in third place in the Bluegrass West Conference. They may have 21 wins but the Bound Power Index has the Mustangs ranked 62nd while CAM is 42nd. Zimmerline believes they can play with Murray
CAM hosts Murray — the winner meets the winner of Earlham and Central Decatur; first serve at 7:00 pm on KS 95 and audio at westerniowatoday.com
