(Des Moines) The National Weather Service in Des Moines reports 1 to 1.25 inches of hail during a storm system that swept through north-central and central Iowa overnight.
One-inch hail was reported one mile west of Lake City in Calhoun County; 1.25-inch hail west of Norwalk in Warren County; half-dollar-sized hail in Wall Lake in Sac County; 1-inch hail in Redfield in Dallas County; and 1.50-inch hail in Panora in Guthrie County.
Webster City received 1.23 inches of rainfall.
