Rescue crews resumed their search Wednesday, after reports of people in the water near the Coralville Reservoir Tuesday afternoon. The Iowa City Community School District says an accident happened while fifth-graders from Borlaug Elementary were on a field trip at the Lake Macbride Nature Recreation Area. The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office says the body of 24-year-old teacher Hannah Jorgenson was recovered Tuesday, and 10-year-old Ahmed Osman’s body was recovered Wednesday afternoon. No further details about the accident have been made available.

The coalition’s combined efforts have resulted in 260 active investigations in 96 communities, investigations into over 84-million dollars in reported losses, and more than two-point-two-million dollars being frozen before it could reach scammers.
Des Moines Skateboarding Festival Kicks Off Today
(Des Moines, IA) — A three-day skateboarding festival kicks off today in Des Moines. The sixth-annual Streetstyle Open hosted by Skate DSM will take place at various locations across the city, including Lauridsen Skatepark, Principal Park, and the roof of the parking garage on 5th and Walnut. Skaters from around the globe are set to compete. The festival is free to the public, and will wrap up on Saturday.
