(Elk Horn, IA) — Exira EHK does not have the best of numbers for cross country but currently there are five girls out this fall and that is just enough to qualify a team in the standings. Michelle Wilson has put more time in this summer to get ready for her Senior season says Head Coach Kevin Brown
Seniors Leah Boysen and Kaitlyn Christensen will also bring some experience to the team and Brown is excited about his two freshman Lexi Brown and Nora Bieker
Lexi is Kevin’s daughter and he says she has been dropping her time all summer long and has real potential to put some fast times up this fall.
On the boys side, there are three runners led by Senior Josiah King
Senior Jack Lassek is a first time runner and Freshman Ben Dixon who has competed at the junior high level.
Exira EHK will open their cross country season on Monday, September 7 in Treynor.
