(Anita, IA) — CAM Volleyball was 11-21 last year and has some reasons for optimism this season. Two of them are their Senior leaders Ada Hansen and Ruthie Rich. Hansen had 130 kills, 29 blocks and 23 aces while Rich led the team with 148 kills. Another reason is the third Senior Setter Courtney Follmann and Head Coach Hilary Zimmerline will turn to all three players to lead this year
Junior Morgan Will played outside last year but moves to the middle this season where she is more comfortable. On the back row, Junior Kendra Nelson will lead the way as the Libero
Zimmerline emphasizes two areas where CAM needs to be better this season — one is communication which got better toward the end of last season and Zimmerline also wants her team to play quicker this year
CAM opens their volleyball season at Atlantic with the Cass County Showdown on Tuesday, September 1 with Griswold.
