(Manning) A candlelight vigil will be held tonight in Manning in memory of 27-year-old Dr. Rylie-Shea Frankee Muhlbauer, who was tragically shot and killed Sunday in Lake View.
The vigil will begin at 8 p.m. outside Zion Lutheran Church in Manning. The public is invited to attend.
Muhlbauer was a Manning native and IKM-Manning graduate who earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2023. She returned to Manning earlier this year and launched Higher Up Chiropractic, a mobile practice. She had been preparing to open a permanent office on Main Street this month.
Muhlbauer was also active in volleyball and was looking forward to helping coach middle school volleyball at IKM-Manning.
Visitation will be held Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, with funeral services set for 10:30 Saturday morning. Ohde Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
