(Warren Co.) A Johnston man was killed in a single-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon in Warren County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at approximately 1:01 p.m. on southbound I-35, near mile marker 55.
Thirty-seven-year-old Kevin Lamont Marvin was driving a 2010 Ford Focus southbound when the vehicle left the roadway and entered the median.
The Focus continued southbound through the median toward the northbound lanes. The vehicle then traveled toward the center of the median, split the northbound and southbound bridges of I-35 and became airborne.
The vehicle struck a bridge pillar on the southbound bridge. Marvin was killed in the crash.
